Even politics have a particular need for animation. Whether you need to highlight key information in legislation, create charts, or provide on-camera visuals for a live election show, animation can show how captivating the political world can be.

While at the Washington Post, I’ve helped design maps, created thumbnails for stories, and built visuals that helped to immerse the viewer into our political coverage. A lot of creative inspiration has come out of designing for breaking news and I hope this body of work demonstrates some of that.
